Hello guys!!! After literally being dying to finish my thesis. Finally i finished it and already submitted it! I was not really satisfied with what i have written, but yeah the only thing i can do now is preparing for thesis defense on the first week of July. WANNA DIEEEEE! Ok, i was just trying to make it more dramatic. So here we are! Trying to get some refreshing!
Like you all know, How To Train Your Dragon 2 is released on June 13th! (i mean in Indonesia and some counties, definitely not in Korea, a friend said it will be played in the end of July). This movie has been waited since the first movie that released in 2010. Yes! I was one of them... i mean who does not love Toothless? that cute Night Fury? OMG He is so adorable and makes me wanna have one in my house.
So i was like "damn, God oh why?!" when the lecturers told me that deadline for my thesis would be on June 16th. Ok, so i watched it yesterday. I went to cinema with Lolli and Ara. Actually this movie would be great if we watch it in 4Dx3D but i was broke so i could no afford it. We really want to watch it in IMAX, but unfortunately it seemed that there would be no IMAX version for this movie, so we only watched it in 3D.
The real reason why i could not afford to watch 4Dx3D movie ticket was because this thing!
Yes! They sell merchandise for How To Train Your Dragon 2!!! Like a tumbler with (maybe) height 23cm and diameter 10 cm. Only buy CocaCola Combo and add IDR 35,000 and you will get this cool tumbler!!! Okeeeeey~ more information for you the CocaCola Combo price itself different depends on what kind of popcorn do you want. It is IDR 55,000 for Salt, IDR 60,000 for Glaze and IDR 110,000 for The Caramel. Well, the price i wrote here is the price 2 months ago when The Captain America "The Winter Soldier" was released (i do not buy popcorn that often), but i do not think there would be any significant difference in 2 months right?
Lolli and I really wanted that tumbler!!! Like really wanted it until we decided not to eat to get that tumbler! But we ended up being broke heart. Why??? because they have no Toothless one! OMG! I really felt disappointed! I almost cried in front of cashier! T___T Well, the tumblers are cute but i only want the Toothless one. They said it was out of stock! Can you believe it? No! I actually do not believe it, and Lolli said the cinema near her house did the same thing. So maybe it was some of their marketing strategy.....or maybe not maybe Toothless was just too famous and it was sold out in no time.
By the way if you really a big fans of How To Train Your Dragon, you must have this tumbler! AHAHAHAH No i am not promoting! Well, but it will be nice if one of cinema staff read this post and give me a tumbler for free! (Keep dreaming Mei, you will not get it). Anyway i am really in love with those tumblers. If i have much money i am sure i will collect all of them, but i do not have much money so please get the Toothless one out!
I will not give you any spoiler by the way, If you watch the trailer you will know that Hiccup finally met his his mother. The only thing i wanna say is my opinion about Toothless kind of different now! If from the first movie i thought that he was very cute like a cat and adorable like a puppy, in this second movie you will find him more handsome! Wait is it really weird to call an (animated) dragon handsome? Yeah but HE IS! Just watch it and find out why~ Anyway see you next time~

Mereka Juga WNI
Ingatlah semboyan negara kita, teman!

Little Tokyo Ennichisai 2014!
Today i will tell you about my 'little' adventure in an event called Ennichisai. I am sure you all already know about it, especially if you are Japan Lovers here. But for those who do not know about it i will give you some clues. If on May 24-25th you by any chance passed over Blok M, South Jakarta area, and you found a sea of people there and you also saw many people wore costume, it was Ennichisai.
Little Tokyo Ennichisai is an annual Japanese art and culinary festival held at Blok M Jakarta since 2010. For more information you can visit their web here. I have been coming to Ennichisai since 2011, so this year was the fourth year i have visited it.
Actually i planned to come both to day 1 and day 2 but because of my
It was so crowded when i arrived there i did not take this picture when i arrived but nothing really different
I have some tips for you who want to come to Ennichisai next year:
- Make sure to only bring stuffs you really need. It will be better if you do not bring any bag. If you park your car near the venue make sure to leave everything in the car and only bring some money (without your wallet), phone, and camera.
- It will be more fun if you come there with your friends. More people you bring there, the more you can enjoy the event. Because if you come by you self you will be like a lost child there.
- Make a meeting point with your friends before you come to the event. Trust me phone will be useless. Every messages will be pending. The signal is the worst ever.
- If you see a person and you think cool and maybe you want to have a picture with him/her just ask him/her directly as soon as possible. It will be hard to find a person again in that kind of place.
Okey, because i had not make any meeting point with Chae, it was really a pain in ass to meet her there. Like i told you in third point, phone is useless. My messages was not delivered, and even if you make any call you will not hear anything. So i finally found Chae at 4pm..... 4pm huh i need an hour to find her, at least i was still glad i could find her.
![]() |
Camwhore with Chae It almost 1 yeat since the last time i met her
There were two stages and a festival here. Why were there 2 stages? because one is traditional culture stage and the another is pop cultural stage. We tried to come near the stage and watch something but it was useless ahahhaah we could not see anything.
collaboration performance of Indonesian and Japanese culture
Mikoshi Street Parade
Speaking of Japanese festival, there must be Japanese Food!
Takoyaki!!
And also cute mascot of some products!
With convenience store Lawson's mascot
One of the best baby's diapers Mamy Poko's Mascot
And of course! cool cosplayers
Jack Frost!!! The favorite cosplayer of the day! because he cosplayed as Jack Frost (he is my favorite character)
White Ranger and Amei sstt, actually Amei is Silver Ranger in an undercover mission ahahha
Takeru-kun, Patamon, and Amei aaak the Patamon is cute, isn't he?
Another Jack Frost and his magic staff! He was so kind and let me steal his staff
Two Jack Frost in my hand!!! There was a funny story about this picture ._.
Combination Jutsu with Naruto-kun!!! Kagebushin no Jutsu!
Finally Chae took a picture with a cosplayer! Chae and her idol since middle school! Sasuke-kun!
Sasuke-kun was so cool~ We were cool couple lol (my expression was not cool tho)
Dunno the character name but the coplayer was handsome :3
Meet them in the escalator when we search for dinner dunno the characters name, but the cosplayers were so kind to me
I teased Takeru-kun so much ahahah "Hi can i take some picture? with your Patamon?"
But unfortunately we ended up heart breaking because our cosplay idol (the one i mention in the beginning of the post) did not cosplay. AHAHAHHA thats too bad. But we were very happy, and as we thought the festival atmosphere in the evening was the best!
Ennichisai was always fun! But too bad i did not meet many friends this year there. Last year i met so many high school friends there tho... maybe everyone is too busy with their thesis tee-hee. Anyway i will make sure to come again next year! see you
feel like the festival in Japan right?
I made this one as this blog header!! ehhehe love it!

K-Festival 2014 : R16 Indonesia & Morning of Owl
Now, i'm writing this post while ignoring some assignments and my thesis.
Finally~~~ after waiting while hungry, the event of R16 (Respect-16) Korea was begun. It was a B-boy championship which is organized by Korea. This year is the first time Indonesia will participate on that big event soooo there was pre elimination battle to find Indonesia's representative for next battle in Singapore and if they pass, they will be representative in R16 Korea.
There were 8 team in this final battle but i did not remember their name. I just know that in semifinal there were 2 battle, first Frezh Motion vs ERC (East Rider Crew) and second one is Killer Beat vs South Gank - i write Killer Bee before and thanks to someone who left a comment in my youtube channel it was actually Killer Beat -seriously sorry about that-.
The team who enter the final battle is ERC and Killer Beat. But before the final there was a special performance from Morning of Owl. First of all i want to show you this!!
So, before the event was started, i went to Korean Calligraphy (서예-/Seoye/) Booth. Some people wrote their fav idol's name, but because i have no one, i wrote Morning of Owl - 모닝 오브 오울. Yeah i know i wrote it wrongly! but please pardon me, because i am not good in hangul-ing English and there were so many people who wait behind me to write theirs. So simple right? but in the end of this post you will see how it is became important for me.
When Morning of Owl entered the stage, i was too excited so i forgot to take any pictures or record them. I was just sitting on my chair holding the good-for-nothing banner and drooling *not literally, but i was like i was drooling over them* Thanks good Suci recorded their performance. Please visit her youtube channel
Morning of Owl's Stage
Final Battel ERC vs Killer Beat
This Battle won by ERC which mean they will be Indonesia's representative!!! GOOD LUCK ERC!!!
After watch the battle, some how i wanted to ask sign from MOO. But when i looked at Issue, he was surrounding by many people who want to take a picture of him. So Suci and I decided to eat late lunch at Kyochon. After ate lunch we back to the floor where the event was held. After we took the escalator, i saw 4 MOO members were walking in front of us. Like a shy middle school students, we walked behind them like stalkers -__- and they entered the lift to the tower before we asked them for sign. Regretted. that was my feeling for not acting fast. Without we knowing, 3 other members walked behind us and they entered the same tower when we are still freezing because of shock.
Failed. Suci and I went upstairs for window shopping. After we saw enough we decided to go home, but when we passed the lift to the tower, we saw 2 MOO members. Without thinking i greeted them and ask for sign. After i got sign in my good-for-nothing banner Suci asked them to take a picture together. And for the first time in that day i realized how stupid i was. Why did i ask for sign instead of picture?
Happy with that 2 members of MOO, we saw other 4 MOO members around there. Did not want to miss the chance i asked them both for sign and picture. And here it is~
Code was soooo kind he talked a lot to us, actually to Suci because i was kinda speechless at that time. I kinda put some interest in Chibi but he just smile which already made my heart beat fast *duh feel sorry for my boyfriend, but it was different-lol*
So that was the end of my little adventure today! Too bad i could not get Issue's autograph and take a picture with him, but im sure one day i can meet them again -because a friend of mine is know them personally- See you in next posting!!!!
Yep, you will notice i did not write for about..3 months long? because i am getting busy buuut for this one i want to tell you everything when i am still remember it well.
Start from Wednesday a friend asked me to go together to K-festival to watch Morning of Owl.
Ok to be honest i did not know who they are. But after that invitation i started watching some their performances and -----well, you can say that my love to them grew bigger even before i meet them directly (too cheesy? i am sorry but more or less it was like that)
After getting lost on my way to the venue - yes i grow up in Jakarta, but it does not mean i know every place there- Thanks God i arrived safely and meet Suci late at... 10.10am. The event would be started at 11.30 but we already got a good seat so even tho we were hungry -like dying- we wait patiently because we did not want to lose our seat.
The opening event is Hair Styling by Lee Moon Won Clinic. But because i did not really interest in Beauty things- moreover the Hair Style they made was so..... basically Korean- i did not put much attention to them. Next is Music Show Wedding. It was like a musical theater about a wedding ceremony. It was interesting ahahahahah.

HUFS Global Volunteers
Ok... my last post was about 2 months and half ago :|
Sorry, i did wanted to write many things but somehow my fingers refused to type because they already typed too much for school assignments. (it was just excuse but it will be nice if you believe it)
In this post i will tell you about HUFS Global Volunteers. FYI i have done the same activities in 2012 with 2012 HUFS Global Volunteer Team but i did not blog about it because...that time i did not think that writing blog is important like i do now. HUFS itself is Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (in Korean 한국외국어대학교). If i am not wrong this year was already the third times they did volunteer works in Subang, West Java.
Throwback for 2012 HUFS Global Volunteer
It was summer 2012, I got the opportunities to join them with Tia, Ayu, Alfian, and Raga. I was responsible to be the interpreter in Science Team.
2013/2014 HUFS Global Volunteers
First of all i would like to explain why i wrote "2013/2014 HUFS Global Volunteers" here. So this team actually formed in 2013 but because of one and another thing they came to Indonesia on January 2014. I was so lucky to get another chance again this year. Actually it was so difficult to participate in the same activity twice because I must give chance to my juniors. But because most of my juniors were busy with another volunteer activities, here i was! Tadaaaa~ This year i went with Ara, Cla, and Nana.
The First Meeting
We decided to meet on 14 January in Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Indonesia. After meet them we had lunch together and headed to Subang~
SDIT'Alamy Subang
We visited the same elementary we visited in 2012. I was so happy to see the children again, and even some children still remembered me and called my name. On 15 January was the first day we visited the school and we were surprised because they prepared a nice welcoming ceremony .__.
Music and Health Team
Because i was already in Science Team in 2012, this year i said to my friends that i wanted to try another team, and here i was in Music and Health Team. Actually it was 음/체 [/eumche/] Team, which was from 음악 [/eumak/] (Music) and 체육 [/cheyuk/](Physical Training), I did not know how to translate it to English so let's just called it Music and Health Team, ok?
The leader of our team is Seungmin Oppa, with Seunggyu Oppa, Junsung, Hyeri, and Jiwon as the member and me as the interpreter. We taught Korean song and some physical games like relay races and rope jumping to the children.
Too bad that it was raining almost everyday so that we could not really play outside T__T
Playing with Elementary Children
The wow-est thing i found here was the children that asked Korean volunteer to sign on their book, backpack etc. Some students even asked mine too! -__-
Over all they were actually cute, but yeah they played pranks too much... what a kiddos
Culture Performance in SMPN 1 Subang
On Saturday January 18th, we went to SMPN 1 Subang for a culture exchange activities. The Korean students performed Sogochum, Nanta, Korean Dance, Taekwondo, and Buchaechum.
In the end of the cultural Exchange there was discussion session where students divided into some group and they could ask anything to Korean students. But the thing that made me surprised was the Oplosan Dance they did in the very end part and it seemed that Korean students enjoyed them. If you want to know what is Oplosan dance you can search it on Youtube because to be honest that day was the first day i knew about it -__-
Here are some picture that show how Seungmin Oppa and Seunggyu Oppa enjoyed Oplosan Dance very much! sorry for bad picture AHAHAHAH
Pineapple Field and Sari Ater Hot Springs
After a tiring time in SMPN 1 (maybe it was just me who tired), we got refreshing time to visit pineapple field and hot spring!! We harvest some pineapple, but suddenly it was raining very hard. After that everyone bath in hot springs, too bad i didnt take any picture because my phone ran out of battery.
Painting in SMPN 2 Subang
On Sunday, January 19th we went to SMPN 2 Subang to do some painting. Actually i did nothing but somehow i felt tired T__T but seriously SMPN 2 Subang Students pissed me off, could you please allow Korean Students paint without you asking for sign or picture?

The Closing Ceremony
Monday was the last day we taught the children for the closing, Korean Students performed the same culture performance they did in SMPN 1 Subang. Too bad it was raining so that we could not perform in the outdoor but thanks to the teachers of SDIT'Alamy Subang we could still make it. Cla and I became the MC for that event >___<
Saying good bye to the children was the hard things we did there. Some of us got the farewell gift but i did not receive any T__T... huhuuuu Amei was sad :p
Shopping Time and Last Greetings
On Tuesday we got back to Jakarta. After a company visit in Korindo, we got a free time to shop at Pasar Raya Grande. Too bad Jiwon was sick so she could go shopping with us. Most of them search for Coffe and Traditional stuffs. It was sad to say good bye to my team T__T Amei was crying yeah, crybaby Amei always cry in every farewell
Like i told in my older post, i always hate farewell T__T. But even tho we spent only short time i learned much from all of you please come back to Indonesia again, because WE ARE FRIENDS
