ahaaay! amei is back amei is back amei is back~!
it has been about...... wait?! 2 months?!
guys i never thought i would abandon this blog for this long time, sorry >__<

This time i'll write about PAS activities 2013! yeay by the way, what is PAS? i guess you must be curious... PAS is Pacific Asia Society. Korean Students join PAS and they do some volunteer activities in some Pacific-Asia countries.  In Indonesia, they come to University of Indonesia (Depok) and Gadjah Mada University (Jogjakarta). Because i study in University of Indonesia i'll write about PAS team who visited us!

This year was the fourth time PAS team visited our collage. it was my third year so that at first i have no interest at all, you can say that i had enough of this kind of activities....... well, it was just in the first tho.... *LOL* We had 23 korean students visited us from January 6th until 24th, 8 male students and 15 female ones. They taught us Korean Language and culture. I didn't join all the class so i'll just write the activities i was in :) I am not in the mood for writing so i'll just make it short okeeey?

Korean Advance Class (한국어 고급반)

First is Korean Language class. Because  i'm a third year student, i attended the Advance one. Well, my korean is not that good, but i didn't have other options. Ahahahahah, there were 7 Korean students who would be our teacher in this class. Every Korean student will have 3 or 2 Indonesian students as their mentee. Indonesian Students chose who would be their Mentor by something like voting - i didn't really like it this way. Luckily Wate, Riris and I were in the same team with Hyejeong Eonni as our mentor ^^

We learned many things in the class, not only usual boring lessons but also new things we wanted to learn. We learned how to play Mafia game, Korean dialects from Chungcheong-do, Jeolla-do, and Kyeongsang-do (you can watch a play about Rabbit and Turtle in Suci's youtube channel). We also had Cooking class where we learned to cook Kimbab and Kimchi Bokkeum-bab and we play Running Man!

K-pop Music Video Club

Not only Korean Language Class, they also taught us Korean Culture. Everyear we had Korean K-pop dance club but this year we had K-pop Music Video club! yeah, we didn't only dance but also made music video! I very excited because i had interest in film making and production stuffs. We had no many members in this class because we asked our junior to have focus in traditional culture club! hahahaha
There were only 10 Indonesian members (Fika,  Lamis, Ridwan, Ican, Mahfud, Charina, Kenny, Riris, Wate, and me) and 7 Korean members (Suhyeon, Sori, Esther Eonni, Seoksu Oppa, Kwangmin Oppa, and Jongbeom Oppa).

Closing Ceremony

In the end of PAS activities we had Closing Ceremony where both Korean and Indonesian Students performed what they learned in the class. Indonesian Students performed Khalchum-Sogochum and Taekwondo Music. There was also special performance from Haha Crew (Nihao, Lamis, and Fika). Korean Students performed Giring-Giring dance and sang three Indonesian songs. We also showed Gangnam Style M/V that we made. The one that made me surprised was... Boys (i mean Korean Student Boys) showed us a special performance and sang Trot Song!

Farewell

On January 24th, PAS team went back to Korea. We saw them in the Soekarno-Hatta airport for the last time. I can't write much about it because it was a short time and i spent almost all my time with Hyejeong Eonni, Wate, and Riris because Hyejeong Eonni was very busy so that we didn't spend much time together. We want to be with her in the last minute. Teary farewell became not-so-teary because when we were crying and said "good bye" to each other, a person disturbed us and made Korean Students entered the gate in hurry T__T hiiiks i was so daaaaaaaaaaamn  freaking surprised (or irritated?) that time.
